Policy rarely sets a vision for where we want to go. When it does, it seldom reaches the products people use. And the products are still designed around foundation models, not around the people who live and work with them.

Why we're called Prova

In Italian, prova means a test, a proof and a rehearsal. Today AI is shipped first and questioned afterwards. We think it should be rehearsed and iterated right from the start, with real data, real rules and the people it will affect, while changing course is still cheap.
